You know what they say…

IMG_0982.JPG

I know I don’t look like much.
Almost like one gentle touch
would break a bone.
And I know you’re worried I might break.
As if one blow is all it’d take
to make me fall to pieces.
I see that everyone is doubting me.
Living with an ideology
that small things are not powerful.

You know what they say about assumptions.
Watch me conquer your presumptions
and then laugh at you.

You big asshole.

You’re going to need a map

sunset1.jpg

I am the sunset on the horizon

glorious and spectacular

beautifully crafted.

I am the sahara desert

hot as fuck yet cold at night

deadly yet welcoming.

I am the Irish rolling hills

hiding secrets in their valleys

full of life and darkness too.

I am the sum of these parts

the collector of stories

the worldly introvert

that packs light and suffers heavy.

You’re going to need a map.
